    BERNE. Bibliothèque de la Ville, n° 433.Écriture du IXe siècle. Cet important manuscrit n'est cité ni par Orelli, ni par Kayser qui énumère cependant 91 manuscrits du traité Ad Herennium. C'est un volume de 79 feuillets (mes. 0,212 sur 0,180). Le traité Ad Herennium commençait au f° 1 v° (aujourd'hui 5 v°) par les mots « Verum hae tres utilitates » (I, 7,11). Une main du Xe siècle a rétabli le commencement sur 4 feuillets ajoutés en tête du manuscrit. Le f° 10 v° reproduit ici contient «ut breviter» (I,17, 27) jusqu'à « quare genera » (II, 1, 2). Les corrections « egimus cum » et « tractaremus. Quorum » prouvent que ce ms., qui semble appartenir à la lre classe, a été revisé avec un de la 2e.

    One letter from British novelist Hall Caine to an unknown individual, whom Caine addresses as "Sir." Caine writes that he has written a report on a meeting he attended before his departure for Russia, at which leading Jews were present. Caine hopes that the unknown individual will forgive him for being his own reporter, and mentions that he asks them to leave the final judgment to Dr. Adler.

Cicéron le fils est désigné par le sigle ?(= discipulus), Cicéron le père par M ou )-( (=magister). Ainsi, en marge, on doit lire : « Incipit discipulus. »
